Mint tea @ Bedouin

I was so lucky to come across Bedouin on my last day in Cambridge... a north african restaurant on Mill Road.

I was wondering if I was going to find anything on the menu for a vegan but they had some excellent starter dishes that were so flavourful.

I started with Chorba Hamra - a fresh tomato based soup with chickpeas, vermicelli and coriander... something I have cooking for myself off and on since.  It was so delicious.

Next I had oven roasted aubergine marinated with chilli, garlic and coriander; covered with a tahini dressing, pomegranate and toasted sesame seeds.
